Your Choice

Going to Court is not always appropriate or the best way of dealing with issues resulting from the breakdown of a relationship. We are happy to discuss alternatives such as mediation with you. Debra Stevens, the principal, is a trained and experienced Family Mediator, who is one of only a small number of Family Lawyer Mediators in West Yorkshire.

Whatever your choice, you can rely on our team at Reeds to give you the support you need.

How much will it cost

Solicitors’ charges are calculated on an hourly basis. Public Funding (previously known as Legal Aid) may be available if you qualify financially. Please discuss this with your Solicitor at your first appointment.

How long will it take

At Reeds we pride ourselves on our efficiency and aim to complete your matter as expeditiously as possible. However, if your particular circumstances are complicated, or there is substantial disagreement, this will influence the speed at which matters are concluded. All cases are reviewed on a regular basis in order to maintain momentum.
